Job Overview

You’ll be the bridge between Flames and the developer community — helping engineers understand, adopt, and succeed with our AI coding tools. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and marketing, but credibility comes first: you’re an engineer who can communicate, not a marketer who learned to code.

You’ll create technical content, engage with developers, and bring real user feedback back into the product. If you enjoy building in public, teaching others, and earning trust through substance, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Build and share real-world use cases showcasing Flames’ capabilities

  • Create high-quality technical content — tutorials, demos, guides, and sample projects

  • Engage with developers across communities (GitHub, Discord, forums, etc.)

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve developer experience

  • Advocate for developers internally by surfacing feedback, pain points, and insights

  • Support launches with technical content, walkthroughs, and documentation

  • Contribute to and maintain SDKs, APIs, and developer tooling (as needed)

  • Speak at events, webinars, or workshops (optional but encouraged)

What We're Looking For

  • Strong programming skills (JavaScript, Python, or similar)

  • Excellent communication skills — you can explain complex concepts clearly

  • Experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, docs, or talks)

  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems, APIs, and modern tooling

  • Comfortable engaging with developer communities and building relationships

  • Self-driven and able to operate in a fast-moving startup environment

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, DevRel, or a similar role

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work environment (US-based preferred)

  • Competitive salary: $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience

  • Equity package included

  • $2,000 annual learning & development budget

  • Home office setup stipend

  • Async-first culture — minimal meetings

  • 25 days PTO + public holidays
